Weekly Recap: August 10-16 2009

Mileage: 45.7 miles

Time: 6 hrs 55 mins

Strength Training: 0 full body, 2 days of pushups

Core: 5x

XT: 1x (biking while doing errands)

So finally I did a true cutback week.  At least mileage wise.  I did do a tempo run this week but I’m mostly concerned with the miles I’m putting on my legs so I’m very happy that I finally was able to cut down.  I think this had to do with 1) MCAT = over 2) my family went on vacation and I didn’t.  I’m ready to ramp up the training intensity over the next few weeks before labor day comes and brings with it the half marathon that I have yet to sign up for but will (probably) ultimately do.

  1. Some good quality miles and you’re treating your legs good which is always beneficial. Get crackin’ on the half pre-reg there.
