I knew it would come down to illness to get my miles down, and mid-40s is still high for most people! The overall pace was quick despite the sick miles which I think is due to the really fast tempo I had on Wednesday. Not much to say except that I’m really happy about the way this week shaped up, granted being sick sucked but I took a full rest day and had two “half days” when I ran <4 miles. Definitely good for the whole body to get that kind of rest. It’s been awhile since that happened.
