Baaaack

I’m back from Philly! It was such a fun trip and amazing. Job orientation was cool (I got to meet some amazing people who are hilariously funny and fun to hang out with), I got to go sightseeing and bar-hopping. Great trip.

I’d love to do a recap post right now and share pictures and everything but I’m in MCAT boot camp right now because I missed classes last week, I need to rework my med school application essay AND I need to pack because I’m moving soon.  Gaaaaaaah.

Stress much?!

BUT once I get back into my routine (and I don’t think it’ll take that long to do so) I’m going to try and put together a post because I did run on vacation and in a pretty cool area too.  Hopefully I can find some free time in the next day or two.

Hope everyone had a great week while I was gone! I’m also going to try and play catchup with your blogs butttt I may or may not have an overflowing google reader.  And it’s overwhelming haha.

Have some great Mondays 🙂

    • Gahhh I know! I hate those questions. Luckily my essay is pretty much done but I need to do some overhauling. Hopefully it’s not too bad. And it’s crazy how much I missed the blogworld and you too!

  2. Dude, I was out for pretty much a weekend and freaked out with my google reader… I can’t imagine a whole week!

Glad training went well- it’s always nice to enjoy the people you’re going to be around pretty much every single day…

    Have a good Monday!

  9. Ah! why stress? The blog thing is meant to give to you not deplete! When I get all “should” on myself I force a breather: one goal a day and then a walk…it forces me to realize that life is today and I have already arrived
I know anxiety for the test can be high, and wish you to practice patience with yourself

  11. Glad you had a fun trip! I haven’t seen the liberty bell in ages. Sending lots of calming, low-stress thoughts your way!

  12. Can’t wait to hear about your runs — after you’ve gotten all the mcat/packing stuff under control, that is! Running in new fun places is always such a nice change of pace.

  13. Glad you had fun and I hope you didn’t study in Philly! 🙂

    Comment by Jess — July 19, 2010 @ 15:09

    • Don’t worry: studying only happened on the train 🙂 Lots of job training (ugh), sightseeing (fun) and drinking (extra fun) haha!

  15. Hope you have some relaxing time!! You need it!

  16. Welcome back! Google readers shouldn’t be so overwhelming! When I get back from an extended trip I often have to just hit “Mark All As Read” so I don’t stress out at the sheer number of posts I need to get through. MCAT bootcamp is way more important. 🙂

  17. Glad you had fun. Can’t wait to see/hear about it!

  18. You have a lot to catch up on. Sometimes it’s hard to be away because you know you pay for it when you get back.

p.s. I can’t comment when I’m on my palm so I missed some posts but I wanted to say I love the glasses! and self portraits help your followers identify with you that way I take so many. (completely NOT because I am a narcissist! 😉

    Comment by shelly — July 21, 2010 @ 14:30

    • Very true about self-portraits. I definitely like to see what the bloggers I read look like. I just feel so awkward doing it hah!

  19. Are you still holding on to the mystery of where you are going for the jobby? We want to know.

Glad you had fun in Philly. I lived there for 3 years. That’s the best I can say about the place.
