Tequila and Quesadillas? If You Insist.

Tonight (or rather probably right now as I’m always late to post ’em) is new patient lottery night at the clinic.  And at the office we’re wondering how many people are going to show up.  The weather is slightly icky which may play a role but it’s also the 5th of May. But the first Thursday of the month is always busy here.  It’s a toss up.

Either way I’ll need…something to relax with after work.  It’s perfect then that it’s Cinco de Mayo, which according to me (and yes I am quoting myself here. So modest I know),

Everybody is Mexican on Cinco de Mayo and therefore can celebrate. Just like everyone is Irish on St. Patty’s day. Guess who is going to be drinking one big margarita and celebrating Mexico after clinic tonight? This girl.  And I’m as white as they get

My co-workers got a kick out of that.

Totally not running related.  I’ll update tomorrow/over the weekend with some running related things and how I’m progressing and whatnot. If you really want to read something recently of the running nature then you can check out my April 2011 recap. But I hope that everyone is out celebrating tonight. Safely of course.

  2. Haha, I love Cinco de Mayo and St. Patrick’s Day- both great holidays. Sadly, I had a ton of work to get done tonight and I don’t feel that well. But I’m hoping next year when Cinco de Mayo is on a Friday I’ll be a better pseudo Mexican 🙂

  9. Those cards are so amazing. When I grow up I want to write them.

Instead of “living vicariously” through me and my running the Disney, you should instead live the Disney World Marathon. Even better!

  16. I hope the festivities and eats and drinks were enjoyable. Can’t believe I had not one single Mexican thing. But I did find some leftover fajitas in the fridge…

Got the pre-Boston CD! Cannot wait to jam it! Thanks!
